How to get better fps in Minecraft

This guide helps you to install fps boost mod to Minecraft. Mod is Optifine and it adds support for HD texture packs. It's common that your fps is doubled or it's at playable if you have slow computer.

Step 1:
Check is your system 32bit or 64bit. If it is install 64bit java if you don't already have. You can download it here.

Step 2:
Install 7-zip, winzip or winrar if you don't already have.

Step 3:
Download Optifine here. Select right version of Optifine. Select Ultra version if you have multi-core processor with medium or better graphics card, Standard for dual-core computers with medium or better graphics card and Light for slow computers.

Step 4:
After downloading Optifine and extracting, Open run and write "%APPDATA%/.minecraft/bin" without ""
Now open minecraft.jar file in 7-zip, winrar or winzip. Delete META-INF folder and drag and drop files from Optifine folder to minecraft.jar and replace old files.

Step 5:
 Launch Minecraft and enjoy smoother gameplay and HD textures (you need to download them first). If Minecraft don't launch you did something wrong. You can check is Optifine installed by pressing F3 ingame and checking does there read in first line something about Optifine.

LA Noire lag fix PC

If your LA Noire is running slow fps you should try this out.

First open up the game launcher and select "Options". In the Command Line type in "-str" and of course without "". Save and launch the game. This is common fix and should give you faster and smoother frame rates or playable if you are using low end computer.

How to fix GTA Vice City crash on Windows 7 64bit

Is your GTA Vice City crashing on your Win 7 64 bit at startup saying "gta-vc.exe has stopped working". Now I have here few solutions. Problem is in your "gta_vc.set" file in the GTA Vice City User Files folder.

Solution 1
Delete "gta_vc.set" file in the User Files. It's path is "C:\Users\your_username\Documents\GTA Vice City User Files\" C is your primary drive letter and it can be any other that you have been chosen. Now try again if it's still crashing try solution 2.

Solution 2
Check updates and install them if are available. Install if there is and try again if it's still crashing try Solution 3



Solution 3
 Go to Advanced System Settings-->Performance Settings-->Data Execution Prevention click add, then add gta vc.exe Now try if it's still crashing try reinstall the game.
